Presented under the collective name Flicker, Electronic Shaman was a live performance that brought together body, sound and audiovisual atmosphere in a collaborative framework. Huang Shuqin’s contribution focused on body theatre, theatrical composition and spatial expression, extending her ongoing interest in the body as a medium of ritual, emotional intensity and perceptual transformation. Moving between live presence and mediated sensation, the work opened a temporary space where the body appeared both exposed and charged within an unstable electronic environment.
